The Aberdeen trawler "Headway" was owned by the Nigg Fishing Co., and was built of wood by Forbes of Sandhaven in 1957.  She is pictured approaching Lerwick harbour in a gale, with the cliffs of the south end of Bressay in the background.

The painting is 24 x 18 inches, is in oils on hardboard, and was purchased by a visitor to the studio.
