As soon as I saw this scene, looking from Scotstown, Banff, on a late June evening in 2009, I knew that I was going to paint it!  The headland in the distance is Whitehills, and the water in between is Boyndie Bay.

The painting is 36 x 24 inches, and is in oils on hardboard.  It was bought online by a client from Godalming, Surrey.
