Lerwick Lifeboat and "Swan"

An early evening in summer at Lerwick's Small Boat Harbour.  The lifeboat and the local sail training vessel "Swan" lie at their berths at the breakwater pier.  In the background, the Northlink ferry "Hjaltland" sets out on her regular trip to Aberdeen, passing the island of Bressay on her way to the harbour entrance.

This painting is 24 x 18 inches,in size, was painted in oils on hardboard, and was bought from my permanent "mini-exhibition" in the Lounge Bar, Lerwick.
